THE ROLE
The Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth experience and functioning of all the Young Leaders and program team in a particular district. This is a very entrepreneurial role that will require the Manager to wear multiple hats and manage government stakeholder relationships, manage collaborations with local institutions, solve ground-level issues, and prepare for small and large-scale events, ensuring the effective delivery of program activities.

Your responsibilities would include:
- Take charge of overseeing all operational aspects within the designated district, ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Young Leaders (YLs) and team members, offering guidance and support in their development.
- Enhance the capacity of both the team and government/community stakeholders through training and skill-building initiatives.
- Lead collaborative efforts with partners and government officials in co-creating education change programs, fostering inclusive decision-making processes.
- Foster strategic partnerships with a diverse range of organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and local funders to support and enhance educational initiatives.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in statistics, economics, social sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience of minimum 4 years, working in a similar role, preferably in the development sector with a focus on education.
- Understanding of learning process in a classroom and governance system of education in India
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a solid grasp of basic technical skills, including proficiency in using applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various Google tools, crucial for successful program management.
- Knowledge of Punjabi (Read and Write) is preferred.

Remuneration: 6-8 lakhs CTC/year (based on experience and commitment time)
